“Everywhere across whatever sorrows of which our life is woven,
some radiant joy will gaily flash past.” Nikolay Gogol

What if something completely unexpected happens when you are looking for something else? This is called “ Serendipity”.

Introduced by the writer Horace Walpole, who wrote the novel: “ The three princes of Serendip”, the plot tells about three heroes who made happy and unexpected discovery by accident.
Furthermore in the history there are many people who have been part of this phenomenon such as: the explorer Christopher Colombus, (he discovered America in 1492 when he was looking for The Indies); and in addition the philosophers Spinoza, Hegel and Montaigne were also connected with it.

You never know what you can find, every single second is a chance to make new discovery, make choices, take a direction, and every time you do that, everything change. I believe that everyone had a “Serendipity” moment in his life, it doesn’t have to be that obvious, you realize you had it when it’s gone. I had one, and it was just like that: magic and memorable.

Joy is an unexpected feeling, you never know where it can come from, discovery belongs to it too. It is hope, it’s excitement, it is the new.
The past is gone, the discovery brings future, new ideas and consequently new opportunities.

To sum up, I would like to conclude this article with a personal point of view: “ life is about occasions, meeting, choices, but honestly I think that life is about to make them. I believe in destiny, but I also believe that if you want to make something happen, you cannot just sit there and wait, and think about it.
It’s wonderful to believe in magic, but behind every magic, there is a magician who makes the magic possible.

I believe in fewer words and more actions. Maybe I am too realistic, but if you don’t want to loose a train, you can catch it on time, if you don’t want to take it, you can find thousand excuses that will make you feel better. There isn’t tomorrow, there is today, and we should make a treasure of it.

“Pick the day Enjoy it to the hilt, the day as it comes. People as they come. The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present and I don’t want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.” Audrey Hepburn
